Report Your Experience
If your brand has been targeted by the Paula Nina Ranara scam pattern — or by any other UGC scam — this is what a useful report covers.
Reports from brands like yours are how the community learns. Every documented case means fewer brands get taken by surprise, and every pattern we publish makes the UGC industry a little bit safer for the honest brands and creators in it.
Before reaching out, make sure you have gathered and preserved your documentation: your contract, all communications, and any invoices or threats you received. Documentation is the backbone of every credible report. For more on what to keep and why, see what to do if she's contacted your brand.
What to Include in a Report
- Your brand's name and industry
- A factual, chronological account of what happened
- Key documentation — contracts, messages, invoices, and threats
- Whether you paid the fraudulent invoice or held your ground
- Any public disparagement that followed, and how it affected your brand
